Farmers Market
Every Saturday at the Sundquist Pavilion local farmers and artisans gather to offer their delicious foods and wonderful crafts. The Market is open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm rain or shine. It’s “Culturally Delicious”!

 

 

 



Rhythmz in Riley Park
Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and you are ready to relax and enjoy a free concert featuring local musicians and fresh summer air. Rockabilly, Pop, Celtic Rock, Edgy Bluegrass, Big Band and more will fill the summer evening air. The concerts begin every Friday beginning June 5 at 7:00 p.m. in Riley Park.

June 23 ~ Arts and Scraps
Kids 12 and under will love the “Ten Buck Truck” filled with metals, foam, and wood. Come and recycle industrial scraps into a one-of-a-kind art project. This day’s theme is “Insects”.

June 30 ~ Summer Bike Check Up
Bring your bike to the Sundquist Pavilion for a free safety check and general bike maintenance. Get in gear and enjoy a long summer of saving the environment while having fun!

July 7 ~ Arts and Scraps
Kids 12 and under will love the “Ten Buck Truck” filled with metals, foam, and wood. Come and recycle industrial scraps into a one-of-a-kind art project. This day’s theme is “Space and Aliens”.

Downtown Farmington Founders Festival
Go Play in the Streets during the Founders Festival July 17-19. Enjoy a weekend of music, art, and fun for all ages. Go stroll though the Art Market, visit the main stage for great music, and catch a “Movie Under the Stars.” Go cheer on a parade, make crafts with the kids, and run around the “Go Play Ground.” Go have a fantastic time at this annual Downtown Farmington tradition

July 21 ~ Downtown Farmington Bike Tour
We will start our tour at the Sundquist Pavilion and make our way through the beautiful Downtown Farmington neighborhoods. Come on and enjoy a ride! Space is limited so please call the DDA at 248-473-7276 to reserve your spot.

July 28 ~ Rock Tower
Oakland County Parks and Recreation’s 25 feet tall Rock Tower will stand tall in the center of Downtown. Here is your chance to rock climb without leaving Downtown Farmington. This is great fun for everyone.

August 4 ~ Herb Garden and Children’s Green Craft
Come and learn how to spice up your kitchen. This one hour class promises to show you new ways to use herbs in your everyday recipes. Kids can come and make a craft that is earth friendly.

August 11 ~ Downtown Farmington Garden and Streetscape Tour
This walking tour will stop at 5 Downtown Farmington residents’ gardens. The grand finale will take you on a tour of the newly landscaped north side of Grand River.

August 18 ~ Arts and Scraps Kids
Arts and Scraps Kids 12 and under will love the “Ten Buck Truck” filled with metals, foam, and wood. Come and recycle industrial scraps into a one-of-a-kind art project. This day’s theme is “Masks”.
